Case Management Inservice Topics

Western Physical Therapy inservice lectures are usually customized to the needs of the group, and include additional time for question and answer sessions.  Sample Case Service Management topics are as follows:

• Documention of physical therapist services

Introduction to documentation of services which support coding utilization.  Case examples will facilitate the case manager's request and receipt of clear documentation.
 
• Modality usage in physical therapy services

Current information on use and effectiveness of modalities.  Utilization of modality usage and passive therapies vs. modalities usage in conjunction with other patient education and active interventions which affect return to work will be discussed.
